About the Role
As a customer service officer, you will be the first point of contact with our customer service centers and end users answering a high volume of inbound calls in an efficient and professional manner. By using your excellent telephone manner, listening effectively and communicating clearly, you will assist our customers and end users resolve any queries they may have. In addition to assisting our customers, you will be responsible for selling KitchenAid products to end users over the phone, accurately processing orders, returns, warranty cards and other tasks as directed.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Answer customer calls diligently, in a polite and professional timely manner
- Proactively promote and sell KitchenAid products and services to increase sales revenue
- Ensure all current legal requirements and responsibilities are adhered to at all times and maintain adequate records
- Provide polite, accurate and efficient customer service
- Organise and co-ordinate product returns from customers
- Uses initiative to control, manage and continually improve the quality of work in areas of responsibility
- Learn all operational and maintenance requirements of our company products for troubleshooting user problems
- Process orders, warranties and requests for credits and returns in Australia and NZ
- Analysis of incomplete document reports and follow-up of late deliveries
- Ensure that all controls, policies and procedures are followed
- Assist in maintaining general cleanliness of office areas and lunch room
- Perform any special tasks as specified by your immediate supervisor or the manner.
Selection Criteria :
To be successful in this role you will possess :
- Ability to work between the hours of 6am to 7:00pm Monday to Friday with Saturdays on occasion.
- Minimum 2 years customer service or sales experience
- Higher School Certificate (Year 12)
- Intermediate MS Office Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
