The Position Outline
We are looking for a customer service and communications officer that will be the liaison between our company and its current and potential customers. The customer service and communications officer will work in our busy contact centre answer incoming calls from customers answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be the first point of contact for all online and store based customer queries
- Liaise with relevant team and individuals to resolve customer issues and queries
- Process returns, refunds, layby payments, order confirmations and follow up
- Manage customer queries via a ticketing system ensuring resolution in a timely manner
- Face book and online enquires
Skills and Experience
- Proven track record in managing customer queries and concerns in a timely manner
- Experience with store procedures and processes
- Computer skills, intermediate Excel skills
- Zendesk experience
- Experience with online and click and collect fulfilment
- An ability to set expectations, provide clear direction and follow up
- Proactive nature and demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure
- Effective communicator in writing and on the phone
- Excellent attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proven problem solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to work additional hours including weekends as required
- Available to work flexible working hours
