An Australian Distributor of high quality and innovative building materials, located in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, currently have an exciting vacancy for an experienced Customer Service - Internal Sales Officer to join their hardworking team. Supporting several departments you will be delivering quality service, establish relationships with their client base over the phone and be proud to be a part of this fast growing business.

This role will be working in a team of other skilled Customer Service /Internal Sales professions and your responsibilities will include the following:

• Inbound Customer Service - enquires, order entry, provide product knowledge, solve issues, provide delivery dates to customers and more
• Outbound Customer Service - making warm outbound phone calls promoting a range of products to existing customers and new customers. 
• Internal Sales - Upselling and building a rapport with your existing customers
• Liaise with the sales department and operations regularly in regards to stock and inventory
• Dealing with pricing requests for customers, updating reports and spreadsheets
• Adhoc Administrative support 

The successful candidate will ideally have excellent communication and computer skills and a high attention to detail.  In addition, you should have a flair for negotiating with customers and a real eagerness to succeed. 

This is a busy environment, so if you have worked in a fast paced environment, either as a Key Account Manager, Internal Sales or within a Contact Centre, then we would like to hear from you. If you have worked in the building manufacturing industry then this will also be valuable!
