You will be based at our George Street branch and have the opportunity to work across our various branch locations in the Sydney CBD and metro area, as well as our regional and interstate branches at times.

About the role

HCF's Relief Team is looking for a professionally presented, positive and engaging Customer Service Officer (CSO) to join their Customer Service Team. As the Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing relief support to branches within Sydney, as well as regional NSW and interstate at times.

This role will see you providing exceptional service to our customers with their questions and enquiries – both in person and over the phone. You'll be professional and sales focused, working towards achieving personal sales targets.  You will be involved in everything from providing product information, to payments and claims processing. Our team members within our branches are the face of HCF and are fundamental to providing the member experience we strive for.

This opportunity would suit candidates who enjoy a face to face sales environment and are looking for a busy, challenging, yet ultimately satisfying role.  Travel is a regular requirement as you will be providing cover/relief to branches during absences.

  • Can you demonstrate success and growth in sales including working to achieve established sales targets?
  • Have you worked in a face to face customer service orientated role?
  • Are you a great communicator, both verbally and in writing?
  • Do you know your way around a computer?
  • Do you feel at home in a team environment?
  • Have you had previous experience within the insurance industry (not essential)?
  • Do you have the ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin? (highly desirable, but not a requirement)
