A Noble & Son Ltd (Nobles) is a leading supplier and service provider of lifting and rigging solutions for the energy, resources, defence, manufacturing and construction industries, with numerous branches throughout Australia. A rare and exciting opportunity now exists for a suitably qualified, results focussed professional to join our growing Northern Territory team in Darwin.
You will be responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers through in-depth knowledge of our products and services. You also will be responsible for facilitating the deployment of the right people, materials and equipment to the right customers’ plant/site installation at the right time, together with the correct company documentation to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a high paced environment which will suit a well organised multitasking professional.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Provides timely and accurate information for the customer from technical advice, order, picking and packing/back orders and delivery of each sale.
- Provide timely quotations and follow up of quotations for products and services to customers
- Support the schedule planned technical activities by co-ordinating personnel, equipment, flights and accommodation.
- Support the Account Managers and Customer Service team as required
- Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures
- Report customer feedback to track overall satisfaction with products, availability, pricing and service delivery.
- Update customer information in the customer database during and after each call
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent negotiation, written & verbal communication and customer service skills.
- High organization & time management skills with the ability to work to exacting deadlines
- High level computer literacy including experience with multiple ERP systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Understanding of “Oil & Gas” and/or Mining vocabulary and requirements
- Ability to work independently and within a team & manage multiple priorities
Candidates will be required to undertake a full medical including drug & alcohol testing prior to commencement in the role. The remuneration package will reflect the accountabilities of the position and will be negotiated in line with experience and skills.
