- Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to obtain information and authority to action customer and merchant requests appropriately.
- Answer and action routine incoming customer telephone calls, faxes and emails relating to a variety of different types of enquires.
- Use the organisation’s various IT systems to access data and action customer and merchant requests.
- Answer 80-100 inbound calls per day.
- Escalate serious or recurring issues to the Senior Customer Solutions Agent and Customer Solutions Team Leader in a timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date thorough working knowledge of Caltex’s three products (Fuel, Lubricants and Card) and three variations of the Card product - StarCard, StarCard Debit, and StarCash.
- Participate in formal training and coaching programmes to ensure performance targets are met and delivery of consistent Customer experience.
