Graphic Packaging International Australia Converting Ltd (GPI) is a leader in innovative design and manufacture of printed packaging for blue chip customers.

We supply cartons to a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, consumer and beverage packaging.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Sales team based at our Braeside site.

This is a hands - on role working in a busy environment that requires eye for detail, accuracy, strong communication and team work.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, processing, checking and confirming all orders to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues as well as completion of all paperwork as required.
  • Process credits, filing and administration functions.
  • Generate all stock reports as required by customer.
  • End to End order processing.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers.
  • Assist Account Managers as required.
  • A high level of customer service.

To be successful in the role, the applicant must:

  • Have prior experience in a Customer Service role within Manufacturing or Logistics,
  • Ability to adapt to changing and fast paced environment,
  • Confidence that allows you to react to customer and operational situations as they unexpectedly arise,
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise numerous work task as the business requires,
  • Work in a collaborative manner with the team and internal and external stakeholders to achieve customer service goals,
  • Excellent communications skills,
  • Demonstrate attention to detail,
  • Be highly motivated and have initiative,
  • Problem solve – identify and resolve problems in a timely manner,
  • Work well in group problem solving situations,
  • Be computer literate in programs such as Microsoft office,
  • Be punctual, efficient and courteous with internal and external personnel.

This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys being in a central coordinating role, communicating both with customers and internal stakeholders. This role would see you coordinating day to day tasks between pre-press, production, sales, logistics and the customer, to meet or exceed our customers' expectations. You will need to have a reasonably mature approach to working with people, in what can be a very demanding role.

You should have knowledge and experience in HACCP, GMP and ISO environments

Experience within the printing and packaging industries would be a distinct advantage.
