The role is challenging but rewarding offering a senior leadership role within Group Finance.
The role is to provide Financial Accounting and Financial Control support for key entities.
The key responsibilities of the Manager will be:
- Manage the financial reporting processes for the relevant entities
- Responsible for Accounting policy and impact to statutory, regulatory and management reporting
- Research and document complex accounting issues
- Ensure the integrity of the genera ledger data
- Manage and motivate a large onshore and offshore team
- Assist the offshore team perform statutory and regulatory reporting requirements for dedicated entities
- Provide technical support on key projects in relation to cost reporting and providing meaningful analysis to the business
The successful Finance Manager will have the following experience:
- 10 + years experience in a similar Financial Accounting or Financial Control role
- Wealth industry experience is highly desired, wider Financial Services industry experience
- Experience in a Shared Services environment for a large Financial Services business
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with strong understanding of accounting standards and accounting principles
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal abilities
