As a Compliance Analyst/Senior Compliance Analyst, you will drive sustainable quality outcomes from regulatory dealings across KPMG and support the Regulatory Compliance & Policy manager and the Regulation & Compliance team (‘R&C’) in initiatives to address regulatory changes.

Your new role: 

Working within the R&C team, your responsibilities would include:

• Supporting the Regulatory Compliance & Policy Manager and the R&C team in the management of KPMG licences, regulatory change program and Risk Compliance Program
• Maintaining an understanding of the laws and regulations
• Conducting research thoroughly with high attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Undertaking monitoring activities as required
• Ensuring components of regulatory change program is delivered according to the objective of the team
• Supporting the Manager in responding to senior stakeholders.

You bring to the role:

This role will require you to be commercially mature, articulate, resilient and capable of challenging to create value. You will have:

• Approximately 2-3 years relevant compliance or legal experience (a legal qualification is an advantage but not essential)
• Experience in working in a regulatory compliance environment (in-house or with a regulator i.e. ASIC, APRA, ACCC, AUSTRAC) would be an advantage
• Ability to analyse legislation, policies, legislative instruments and translating analysis into clear communication applicable to KPMG
• Excellent client service skills, including interpersonal, written and verbal communication
• Good research, problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong work ethics with the ability to support project management activities would be an advantage
• Ability to work in a diverse team and build effective relationships and to operate autonomously with minimal guidance needed
