New chance to be the number on Data Science Leader here in Sydney.
One of the largest insurance/banking corporation and top 20 ASX company is now looking to expand the Data Science leadership team. This business is known for its forward-thinking growth strategy and highly entrepreneurial approach, echoed by the innovative leadership team and the people they look to hire.
To assist them on this upward growth they have created a new role for a Principal Data Science Consultant (Customer) to be their new thought-leader. You will be part of a very innovative greenfield project, where you will be one of the driving forces behind the customer analytics roadmap that will contribute to their new innovative marketplace.
The challenge will be in understanding your customer and what the driving forces are behind the trends such as retention, engagement, acquisition and satisfaction.
You will work with your key stakeholders (i.e. business heads) to deeply understand their business and their core goals for the upcoming period. In collaboration with them, you’ll formulate a series of projects that will provide Data Science assets that will help them meeting their targets.
What you need to do:
- Build out and influence the current view of the customer. Adjust and influence new customer metrics.
- Be the expert on the key drivers such as the NPS, X performances, retention and cooperate acquisition.
- Create and control customer journey maps. Contribute to the Customer Lifetime Value capability.
Be the main point of contact between the business and the Data Science leadership team.
- Drive excellence in the reporting and general analytics space
What you should bring to the table:
- Live and breathe Data Science & Analytics with a strong view on customer.
- Ability to co-create with key business stakeholders and sensitivity to consult and influence them.
Be able to develop practices – envision and generate data science prototypes (using preferably Python and/or R)for others to build out to scale
- Manage 2 to 4 direct reports
