Talent Sourcing Partners has been engaged to source an experienced Property / Credit Analyst for this highly regarded and growing Financial Services provider. This role requires an astute analytical individual with exceptional financial modelling skills and an outstanding ability to articulate their findings in both written and verbal format. Position Objective

The primary focus of this role will be to conduct research into property and credit products. Further research into broader asset classes will be available from time to time.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and conduct research on funds and products within the Direct Asset Sectors
  • Coordinate managers and other sector specialists for meetings as required.
  • Prepare for and undertake interviews with fund managers, collecting and synthesizing written information, assessing the merits of products and writing research reports. 
  • Preparation of fund updates, viewpoints, and fund profiles for existing trusts and review of the investment outlooks for various sectors.
  • Regular communication with advisers to address specific queries and needs;
  • Prepare and deliver research findings and presentations for professional development (PD) days, new client pitches and industry conferences and internally.

Suitable applicants will have previous experience locally (3-5) years with solid credit / property fundamental analysis skills working within a research house, funds management, corporate, stockbroking and / or banking environment.  You will also have a passion for investment markets and be able to demonstrate this. You will also have successfully completed your undergraduate degree as mentioned below and be near completion or finished post graduate studies in an Honours Year, CIMA, CFA, MBA Eco, Comm or Applied Finance with RG146 an advantage.

Additional requirements:

  • Proven understanding of investment markets with knowledge of other investment structures that display a level of complexity being advantageous.
  • Excellent financial modelling and company valuation skills
  • Ability to synthesize & distil financial information down to key concepts & convey this in written form efficiently, clearly and concisely.
  •  A strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, ability to meet deadlines & co-ordinate & manage multiple tasks. 
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) with both internal & external stakeholders.
  • Well-developed & articulate interview skills, having the ability to undertake in-depth and thorough interviews, professional and personable in style.
