A financial services organisation is seeking an Analytics Solutions Consultant to join a Risk Analytics environment and help deliver innovative, market leading solutions.

You will be the focal point between a team of Analysts and customers therefore we are looking for someone with a strong background in analytics, great communication skills, commercially savvy and can build a strong rapport with clients.

The Analytical Solutions Consultant will be working on complex opportunities that require customer analysis and recommending the necessary required solutions, therefore you must possess a technical understanding of analytics.

Using analysis the Solutions consultant will be responsible for identifying trends and industry issues the customers organization my face in order to develop a solution or package to benefit the customer.

You will have the opportunity to work across a range of industries from some of the largest Australian Household names to ground breaking and successful Fintechs and start-ups. This company delivers truly innovative analytics solutions and analytics projects which you will be an integral part of.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with customers to understand their risk analytics needs and be part of a team who helps build relevant analytics needs and products
• Develop propositions through analysis of customer risk analytics insights, to provide the customer the value of potential solutions
• Provide industry trends and insights to the product and marketing teams
• Remain aware of development in prime industry sectors including banking, financial, telco, trade credit with particular reference to credit risk, marketing, fraud and verification industries
• Attend workshops with product development and marketing teams to identify new sectors the solutions can be executed
• Understand all of the business products, product developments and unique strategies to deliver propositions to customers

Looking for Key Skills such as

• Tertiary qualification in a technical discipline such as Applied Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics or Business etc.
• 3 plus years demonstrable experience in an analytics role in credit risk or consumer/commercial credit within the banking & financial industries
• Ability and experience to interact with internal and external key stakeholders, customers, management and industry bodies
• Exposure to working with technology solutions or business analysis techniques
• Experience using tools such as Excel and SQL, SAS would be an advantage
• Proven experience building relationships and presenting to stakeholders
