About the Role

The iQ Group Global is seeking sales-driven business development professional as part of the expansion of our Investor Relations team.
Working directly with the Chinese investment community, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential new investors, developing and maintaining these relationships. In addition, you will be responsible for creating strategies to generate investor interest and build long term relationships within this community.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to: 
  • Develop, drive and achieve sales objectives;
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with potential investors;
  • Manage the sales process from identification of potential investors through to closing the sales, and ensuring compliant, accurate documentation;
  • Daily investor support and feedback management;
  • Actively present and raise the profile and brand of The iQ Group Global with the Chinese investment community by direct calling, networking and attending industry events; and
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials that are responsive to the market and client needs, which demonstrate the effectiveness of private equity as a solution in meeting investor requirements.
About You

Ideally you have experience working in, or investing in, the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Alternatively, experience working within the financial services industry within stockbroking or funds management with an existing network of investors, capital raising partners or relevant contacts, and the ability to demonstrate the following:
  • Sales experience within the financial services industry with an existing network of investors, capital raising partners and relevant contacts;
  • Sound knowledge of financial products and financial markets with knowledge across private equity capital and managed funds highly preferred;
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics and commerce category;
  • RG146 Qualification (preferred);
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in raising private equity capital from investors, including family offices ideally;
  • Strong relationship management skills, preferably within the Chinese investment community, with a record of executing successfully against long-term business plans and goals;
  • Fluent in Chinese (written and oral);
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; and 
  • The ability to work well in a team or autonomously.
