Our Client

Our client is an alternative lender operating in the global financial services business. They have been in operation for more than fifteen years and have established offices across Australia, Asia and Europe. With plans to expand into further markets, their Directors can be described as ambitious and forward thinking.
  
The Opportunity

Your role, as the Associate Director, will involve working within the Capital Solutions Team and incorporate the identification of corporate real estate debt financing opportunities for construction and investment loans.
  
Tasks and Responsibilities

• Work on multiple real estate specific equity structures
• Analyse all financial data including modelling, transactions and general financial analysis
• Credit modelling
• Preparation of briefing and submission document
• Work closely with the legal team on all legal documentation
• Provide the broad spectrum of all advisory service; governance and due diligence
• Deal origination 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal person will ideally have between 8 -12 years’ experience within the property finance industry and be ready for the next challenge. Additionally will have;

• Sound understanding of the dynamics of the property market
• Understanding of the provision of subordinated/mezzanine debt and equity
• Ability to structure loans and conduct financial modelling and sensitivity analysis 
• Understanding of the dynamics and credit risk appetite of capital providers in the local credit market
• Entrepreneurial, analytical and strong researching skills
