Mulcahy & Co Financial Planning is part of the Mulcahy group providing Accounting, Lending, Financial Planning, Legal and IT services to a large client base. This business is located in Wendouree in a modern office.
With continued growth planned in our Financial Planning division, Mulcahy & Co Financial Planning is seeking Paraplanners and Customer Service Officers to join the team. Our business offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious person who is either looking for a career in Administration, Paraplanning or wanting to progress your financial planning career and become an Adviser.
The Role – Paraplanner
The right candidate will be responsible for providing support to our Advisers and provide direction to our administration team.
- Maintain and help grow an allocated client base
- Drafting Statements of Advice in a timely manner
- Meet and exceed individual KPI's
- Maintain compliance
- Work closely with the Adviser and support staff
To be successful in the role your will need:
- Paraplanning experience desired but not essential
- Completion of Diploma of Financial Planning or Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning preferred
- Excellent organisational and communication skills both written and verbal
- High Attention to detail
The Role – Customer Service Officer
The right candidate will be responsible for providing support to our Advisers and Paraplanners.
- Meet and exceed individual KPI's
- Maintain compliance
- Entering client information into the Midwinter database and ensuring client data is accurate and up to date.
- Executing Financial Plan recommendations including processing new applications, data entry and monitoring the progress of applications.
- Answering calls from clients, insurance companies and fund managers
- Producing client reports, forms, meeting documentation and general correspondence
- Provide administration support to the Advisers and Paraplanners
- Following business and client servicing processes
To be successful in the role your will need:
- Office Administration experience essential
- Customer Service Role within the financial planning industry preferred but not essential
- Completion of Diploma of Financial Planning or Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning preferred
- Excellent organisational and communication skills both written and verbal
- High Attention to detail
- Be motivated by administrative duties and financial information processing
- Jump at the chance to help others
- The confidence to ask questions
