The Candidate:
The right candidate will be well presented, excellent communication skills with broker support experience.
- Excel at planning and prioritizing tasks throughout the day/week.
- Credit Experience as a broker assistant is essential where you have exposure to credit assessment.
- Customer Service Focus
- Enjoys working independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility in hours.
- This role is suitable potentially for a return to work mother or father as the role is initially casual/part time hours growing to full time,
- An open / non critical approach to life's problems is a must.
The Role:
The position is initially a casual position, that ideally would lead to Full Time as the position grows. You will be working directly with the Director of the company, Credit manager, external brokers and with business partners.
- PA support
- CRM Updates
- Broker management and support
- Obtaining paperwork from clients.
- Analysing Lender, Credit and Application submission requirements
- Packaging and Submitting fully completed loan applications to lenders.
- Tracking the progress of loan applications through to settlement
- Keeping applications on track to meet critical dates.
- Communicating with all parties to the transaction, i.e. clients, banks, settlement agents/solicitors, debt collectors, real estate agents.
- Keeping the client and business partners updated throughout the loan process
- Post Settlement Customer Care
- Preparation of faxes and correspondence
- Preparation of daily, weekly. monthly reports
- Maintaining database system i.e. updating client information
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Scanning & Electronic File creation and management
- General Office Duties
- Maintaining Marketing Systems.
Key Selection Criteria:
- A minimum of two years experience as a Loans processor, mortgage broker' s assistant is mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- A high level of organisational and prioritising skills
- High level of computer literacy and experience using MS Office software
- Experience in working in a busy office
- Ability to learn quickly and work within deadlines
- Friendly disposition, polite, well mannered and approachable.
- Cert 4 in Mortgage Broking is essential.
- Some on the job training is provided.
Work Hours: 10.00 - 16:00
4 days per week
