About The Role
Role Location: 100 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000
Role Type: Full-time/ 12-month fixed term contract
 
As the Appian Designer, you will be responsible for working with multiple projects to understand requirements and to translate them into tangible solutions and will be required to work in a team and individually to deliver quality outcomes.  You will be from a highly technical background with strong development experience (particularly in Appian, Java and SQL) and must understand design best practices and be able to implement solutions to a high quality and standard. 
 
You will also be a part of an agile squad where you are required to deliver through solutions on the Appian platform and create Java components where required.  The Squad is relatively new, but has already achieved solutions that deliver significant workflow volumes and high business value.
 
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Relevant Appian experience;
  
• IT/Software Engineering Degree or equivalent;
  
• Proven track record in Java;
  
• Past experience in finance industry (desirable); and
  
• Extensive SQL experience
