About the role:

This Financial Advisor role is focused on engaging, retaining and growing your portfolio of clients.

Your will be provided with your own portfolio and the executive team will require you to engage with clients to ensure that their financial goals are met through providing quality holistic financial planning advice as well as servicing both existing and new clients. You will be driving new revenue growth as well as managing the growth of funds under advice.

General Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Making outbound calls to book meetings to update / advise
  • Providing financial planning advice to clients by analysing client needs and helping them to identify their long term financial well- being goals, ensuring working in the best interests of the client
  • Up to date knowledge of superannuation and investment related legislation and compliance requirements (Compliance team is there to grow your knowledge)
  • Active participation in team discussions and meetings
  • Communicating professionally
  • Working collaboratively across the department
  • Skilled in goals orientated planning to reach client objectives
  • Wanting to be part of a successful team that’s focus is terrific client outcomes

About you:

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant financial or accounting or banking discipline (or similar) preferred. You will have experience working in a financial environment.

You must demonstrate an understanding of the need for high quality financial advice, together with high personal productivity in a financial services environment.

Must be motivated by the challenge of achieving high throughput of work, in a deadline driven environment.

You will have effective time management skills, a dedicated and strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team to achieve results.

Key requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience working in the Financial Services Industry
  • Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning highly regarded
  • Ability to grow and maintain effective client relationships
  • Proven client engagement skills
  • Effective time management skills, with strong attention to detail 
  • Commitment to ongoing development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A professional approach and a positive 'can do' attitude to your work
  • Proven history of being detail orientated
  • Driven and motivated
  • Able to use coin software or other applicable software
  • You will be someone who wants to be part of a growing firm you are accountable and seek to work with a driven and effective executive team
