About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Risk and Compliance Analyst with a particular focus on assurance and reporting to our busy team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the enterprise wide risk assurance program through the delivery of assurance reviews and preparation of review reports, as well as operational and compliance reports up to board level. You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders across the business, performing risk analysis and deriving meaningful insights, while working to continuously improve the governance, risk and control (GRC) system.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assurance reviews (including obtaining commercially sound and risk appropriate control improvement actions)
- Presenting findings from assurance reviews to senior management
- Providing commercially sound technical risk and compliance advice on risk issues in a timely fashion
- Co-ordinating and managing reporting deliverables
- Extracting and analysing data for risk reporting
- Stakeholder management
- Assisting in policy development and implementation.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant academic qualifications, e.g. a university degree
- Two or more years’ experience in a relevant Risk Management and/or Compliance function is desirable
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member
- Relevant risk analysis skills
- A sound understanding of the insurance industry
- Computer literacy and a good knowledge of relevant application e.g. Sharepoint, Excel and PowerPoint
