Our Graduate Program:

Do you enjoy problem solving? Can you work both independently and as part of a team? Have you Graduated University in the last 2 years?

If you answered yes, then this could be the Graduate program you have been waiting for!

 We are looking for graduates to join our three year program based in our Head Office, in the trendy Gasworks precinct at Newstead.  The program will commence on Monday 24 September 2018 and will see graduates embark on this exciting new chapter, where you will be supported through on the job training, mentoring and workshops to gain skills, knowledge and build capability in the Risk function of BOQ.

Graduates will complete 3 x 12 monthly rotations within one of our 3 risk streams and become value creators providing expert advice and analytics to support our business partners in their decision making. Upon successful completion of the three year program, graduates will be guaranteed a position within BOQ.

About you:

This Graduate program is open to graduates from a range of disciplines including but not limited to: Banking, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering and/or Quantitative Finance.

We are looking for strong graduates with effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently. You will have quantitative aptitude, ability to problem solve, a high level of integrity and leadership potential. Previous experience working in a corporate environment is an advantage but not essential.

You will have graduated in the last 1-2 years or will graduate prior to commencing the program in September 2018 from undergraduate or postgraduate study.  You will need to be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand to be a part of the program.
