A highly reputable and well established boutique financial services business has an exciting opportunity available for a new financial advisor to join their team. They are focussed on their advisors being innovative and pro-active, and pride themselves on being reputable, trustworthy and reliable with a good sales process.

The role:

  • Engagement with new referrals and client relationships for the preparation, provision and implementation of personal financial advice subject to client goals and objectives (i.e. ranging from comprehensive holistic advice to defined scope single issue advice)
  • Formulation of strategic financial advice strategy for existing and new client
  • Working collaboratively as part of a professional advisory team for best client outcomes
  • Contributing to the ongoing training and development of colleagues.
  • Demonstrating high levels of professionalism in all client engagement and communication
  • Preparation and presentation of written advice to clients
  • Ongoing client relationship management and delivery of valued ongoing advice and service to existing client base. Including proactive and reactive client communication, portfolio management, research and follow-up on advice related matters
  • Undertaking periodic review meetings with clients
  • Following through to ensure that advice is implemented
  • Undertaking both verbal and written regular client communication
  • Keeping abreast of changes in investment markets and regulations
  • Maintaining your client records through “COIN” software
  • Utilize tools such as COIN & other financial analysis tools to complete comprehensive research
  • Completion of research and analysis of various financial matters
  • Attending to client Centrelink & Aged care matters
  • Participation in economic, market and financial product research and ongoing education
  • Undertaking client insurance reviews/re-market
 
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Provide compliant advice and adhere to compliant processes
  • Be a high achiever and a high sales drive
  • Be able to close a deal
You will be remunerated adequately with a base salary, bonus and further down the track, there is a potential for equity.
