• Senior Manager - Pricing Operations
• $160k-$180,000 + Super + 15% STI
• Sydney CBD - Permanent

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Understanding thoroughly the drivers of the Retail Advice business;
• Understand and support existing Retail Advice Insurance pricing models;
• Hypothesis & model creation & validation;
• Model, test, perform sensitivity analysis and articulate pricing models relevant to CommInsure Retail Advice Insurance products;
• Contribute to pricing ideas and strategies;
• Support projects on re-pricing, product upgrades and dealerships incentives;
• Engage key business stakeholders and communicate complex issues to non-technical audiences;
• Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders and is seen as a trusted advisor

Your Skills & Experience

• At least 10 years of working experience in the life insurance industry
• Able to engage with regulators, state revenue offices and key internal stakeholders
• Excellent data analytics and problem solving skills
• SQL Capabilitiy
• Advanced Excel skills (including writing macros)
• Ability to concentrate on loosely defined problems which require application of creative approaches
• Ability to build pricing models in Life Insurance
• Strong Prophet modelling skills
• Demonstrated personal characteristics of resilience and adaptability
• Actuarial tertiary qualification
