About the Team:
The Project Management Office (PMO) comprises a number of teams including - the PMO Governance Team and various PMO Execution Teams. The PMO Governance Team is the first point of contact for all Mercer Financial Services staff to initiate a project or requiring compliant standard program/project tools, templates and processes.
 
About the Role:
Reporting to the Governance, Reporting & Capability Leader, the PMO Governance Coordinator will be responsible for administering the project lifecycle methodology, stage gates, workflows, governance processes and the PMO database. In addition, you will also:  
  • Establish project codes, set up directory/file structures for individual projects and complete other centralised governance team activities which assist in consistency and efficiency for the project lifecycle
  • Provide administrative support for the Portfolio Review Group/Portfolio Steering Committee including development of a monthly project portfolio overview for the steering committee, documenting minutes and following up action items
  • Support all stakeholders and users of the PMO methodology.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • At least 5 years administration experience particularly in a team support and preferably within a PMO environment
  • Demonstrated experience in small to medium project or business teams within financial services
  • Strong organisational, time management, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
