Our client, a leading Investment Bank is seeking an experienced Cash Equities Settlements Associate to join their team.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Settlement of all Cash Equities for the Australian market
• Processing transactions within agreed turnaround times and consistent accuracy in a high volume environment
• Monitoring Market Obligations
• Manual payments via Swift and Exigo
• DVP/RVP and FOP settlements across both Cash and Stock Loan Borrow
• Journal posting and reconciliations (depo’s, Nostro’s, control accounts)
• Investigate failed trades
• Recognise any re-occurring errors, identify the cause & implement preventative measures
• Practicing prudent risk management by identifying and responding to business risks

To be considered for the role you will:

• Have a minimum of 2 years relevant Cash Equities settlement experience
• Knowledge of Client Money and Trust Account rules 
• Have an ability to work at a fast pace and tight time frames
• Ability to identify risks, resolve and escalate where required
