Credit and Deal Execution Analyst
This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your risk analysis and deal execution skills to a wide variety of global structured finance transactions.
Joining our Corporate Asset Finance Group, you will be involved in financing a broad range of assets including mining, energy telecommunications and plant equipment.
Leveraging your previous Analyst experience, you will assess new finance opportunities for transactions across a range of financial products and other various asset categories ranging from $500k to over $50m.
You’ll be a key liaison between internal (risk, tax, finance, compliance, legal) and client side (originations and customers) stakeholders. Our deal originations team will rely on you to provide constructive advice on information requirements, deal structuring and credit appetite. As an Analyst with sound financial analysis skills, you enjoy working through complex deal structures, performing financial analysis, forecasts and preparing credit papers for decisioning. You will also be responsible for managing deals through their entire lifecycle including working out troubled credits.
To be successful in this position you will have 3 years + experience in structured financing and ideally a degree in a Finance or a related discipline. Your strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to explain credit decisions in a professional and timely manner will set you up for success.
You will need to have an adaptive and flexible approach to work and the ability to prioritise competing demands. Flexibility to work with the time zone restrictions of other offices may also be required. Experience with either mining, energy or telecommunications is preferred.
