The Regional Manager position is a key role within the Regional & Agribusiness Banking (RAB) division. The RAB teams are located in over seventy centres across Australia and our business offering is key to supporting a diverse range of businesses across Australia. The vision of the RAB team is to excel at securing and enhancing the financial well-being of people, businesses and communities throughout Regional Australia.

We are looking for someone who thrives in an exciting environment and shares our real passion for innovation and continuously improving what we do and how we support regional economies and communities across Griffith and the Riverina Region of NSW.

Do Work That Matters

Using your ability to coach, mentor and engage both your team and our clients, you will focus on growing quality business across Agribusiness and commercial markets. You will work with a strong performing team with strong growth potential and will have oversight across our diversified and thriving customer base.

More specifically, you will:

  • build strong relationships with clients and retain their business through excellent client service;
  • use your network and referral partners to identify and pursue new to bank opportunities;
  • gain an in depth understanding of complex client needs and engage product specialists to deliver a broad range of financial solutions;
  • drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex solutions; and
  • Continue to build your profile and presence on behalf of CommBank across the region.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Have a proven record in client engagement within banking.
  • Can coach our team to develop uncommon customer focus skills and capabilities.
  • Demonstrate a real passion to lead and further develop a skilled team.
  • Have exceptional commercial acumen and credit understanding.
  • Are tech savvy and can use our excellent technology.
  • Have a strong personal brand in the community or passionate about developing as a community leader.
  • Leadership capability and a strong risk management focus.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded.
