Currently we are seeking to appoint an Investment Risk Manager to join our team.  Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Investment Risk Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing investment risk through the development, maintenance, monitoring and review of the Trustee’s investment strategies and policies.  Working in close collaboration with the Deputy CEO, Executive Manager Investments and the Risk Manager, this role monitors investment risk and recommends suitable controls to ensure investment risk is appropriately integrated into the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

The successful applicant will bring the following experience, and educational requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce or a related field;
  • Experience with investment risk analysis and monitoring tools/software;
  • Substantial commercial experience in superannuation fund investment at a strategic level;
  • Strong understanding of investment theory and investment risk analysis principles, and macroeconomic concepts;
  • Demonstrable experience of influencing senior business leadership teams, strategic thinking and prioritisation;
  • Demonstrated high ethical standards and integrity.

Desirable:

  • A post graduate degree in finance discipline would be highly advantageous along with relevant industry qualifications.
  • Certified Financial Analyst;
  • Diploma of Superannuation or equivalent;
