What is AMP Adviser Pathways?

Adviser Pathways is the flagship program of AMP’s Adviser Academy. We help talented individuals to reach their goal of becoming a financial adviser, through a blended learning program.

During each phase of the program, you’ll acquire and build on the skills and capabilities you’ll need to become a fully qualified financial adviser. Through on-the-job training, coaching, mentoring and a blended learning course with Griffith University, you’ll gain experience and confidence in your client interactions and the provision of financial advice.

How does it work?

There are four phases in the Adviser Pathways program, beginning in the Customer Engagement team and working up towards delivering comprehensive phone based financial advice.

Phase One – Customer Engagement Consultant.

Foundational training with our Customer Engagement team.

Phase Two – AMP Adviser Academy

Blended learning through Griffith University and AMP Adviser Academy. Here you will learn how to hone your client engagement skills, working towards being able to actually start giving financial advice.

Phase Three – Phone Based Financial Adviser

During this phase you will be gaining experience with real client scenarios in our phone based team, and giving financial advice within a supervised environment.

Phase Four – The Journey Continues

Here, you have the option to stay a phone based adviser, or you can pursue opportunities delivering face to face advice.

To be eligible for consideration for the program, you need to satisfy the following criteria:

• Have a FASEA approved degree. See www.fasea.gov.au for more information
• Be a permanent resident, or citizen of Australia
