We are seeking a Head of Global Regulatory Relations to join our Group Compliance team.

Reporting to the General Manager, Global Regulatory Affairs, you will demonstrate your substantial knowledge of regulatory management, combined with a deep understanding of business, consumer and market impacts from our products and services;  and regulatory and community expectations.

Day to day you will be accountable for leading the Group’s relationships with its regulators (including key Australian, US, UK and Asian regulators) to monitor the footprint and health of those relationships and provide strategic advice and support. Domestically, overseeing the Group’s relationship with ASIC, Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and certain other bodies and co-ordinating those regulatory engagements where they impact multiple group licensees, business units or divisions.

As leader of the Global Regulatory Relations team, your responsibilities include:

• Leading a diverse team that is responsible for a high intensity regulatory agenda. The team is made up of individuals with strong SME knowledge and significant expertise of dealing with regulators on regulatory issues
• Providing Group-wide leadership and mentorship to internal and external partners to ensure consistent, high quality outcomes in dealings with international and domestic regulators and providing briefing notes and other regulatory preparation to Group Executive Management and CBA’s Board for regulatory interactions
• Leading large and complex regulatory matters particularly those that cross multiple businesses units
