We have a fantastic opportunity for a practically minded and commercially focussed professional to join Arc infrastructure’s Finance, Risk and Compliance team.
Joining the team as the Risk, Compliance and Insurance Specialist you will be partnering with the business to deliver continuous improvement across the functions of Enterprise Risk, Compliance Management and Insurance.
Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Development and execution of the annual risk management plan, including enterprise wide risk assessments and assisting with the development of treatment plans and reporting;
- Development, implementation and ongoing management of an Enterprise Compliance Framework and associated Management System documentation, including the training and coaching of Compliance Area Owners;
- Overseeing the implementation of the internal audit plan in conjunction with the external Brookfield Internal Audit team (Brookfield is Arc’s parent firm) and assisting the business to provide appropriate management response and timely close out of audit recommendations;
- Implementation of the annual insurance program
- Undertaking operational, financial, regulatory and compliance related advisory reviews or audits as required;
- Championing the increased maturity of the business in risk, compliance and audit activities, ensuring controls are fit for purpose and effective; and
- Support group reporting to Brookfield (monthly, quarterly and annual)
- Support of the strategic planning (and strategic risk) process including supporting the strategic aspects of the business plan and budget process
This is a unique opportunity for you to get a whole view of the business and to interact at all levels.
Previous experience in a risk or compliance role and a working knowledge of applicable standards and their application, specifically; IS31000:2009, COSO Integrated Risk Framework, ISO 19600:2015 is essential. A recognised qualification in Finance (CA) and/ or Risk would be well regarded.
