A leading financial intuition who are recruiting an Operational Risk and Control Manager in their expanding Risk team based in Sydney.
Your new role
As an Operational Risk and Control Manager in Personal Lending the team is responsible managing and optimising the risk and control framework, more specifically you will be responsible for; - Monitoring issues and themes across the Personal Lending business - Proactively identifying opportunities to better manage risk - Working with relevant product teams to manage and resolve incidents and issues
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have;
- Demonstrable experience in Operational Risk
- Controls assurance experience
- Sound knowledge of risk and control in a commercial environment
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
- Tertiary qualification in finance or risk management would be advantageous
- Retail Banking experience will be advantageous but not essential
