The role of the Lending Officer is to assess credit card applications in accordance with the Bank’s regulatory, procedural and policy requirements to help grow the credit card base, demonstrating sound credit decisions whilst considering the customer's objectives, goals and needs. With excellent time management, attention to detail and a strong customer service approach, the Lending Officer will be required to use their knowledge of Consumer Credit Policies to problem solve and follow up applications.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
- Customer service experience (essential)
- Sound judgement skills (essential)
- Competent Microsoft office skills (essential)
- Consumer lending knowledge (desirable)
- Experience with role specific software – 3270, Lendfast & LAPS (desirable)
- Proven ability to make sound lending decisions (desirable)
