This is a great opportunity for a Senior Fund Accountant to join our global organisation.  As a key contributor to the fund accounting team you will assist and mentor junior staff and support the team leader as and when required.    Your duties will include: 

• Preparing timely reporting of financial accounts, APRA & management reporting, tax and other statutory reporting for Mercer Superannuation clients
• Reconciliations and oversight of general ledger balances
• Responsible for ensuring year-end financial reporting processes and  preparation of financial statements are completed in a timely manner
• Reconciling and maintaining unit pricing provisions
• Assist with bringing new funds into the fund accounting team  

Working in a collaborative team it is essential to be results driven and be able to work independently.  To make this role your own you will have a strong fund accounting background of 5+ years ideally from superannuation or funds management.  CPA or CA qualified.  As a person you will possess: 

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with ability to articulate financial information to a range of stakeholders
  
• Time management and ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
  
• Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail
  
• Ability to work in a team
  
• Intermediate ? advanced  Excel skills
