Detail information about job APS6 Finance Officer. Terms and conditions vacancy

12 month contract – (with possibility of two 12 month extensions)
Experience with revenue accounting essential
Ideally, a minimum of NV 1 security clearance

Responsibilities:

This is a high profile position requiring good financial management skills, particularly in revenue management
Work with your boss to provide advice re improvements and implementing change
Calculation of monthly and annual fees; reviewing foreign currencies
Monitor clearing account
Management of monthly variance reports
Undertake inventory and stocktakes; as well as managing the asset register
Training of Officers in taking in revenue
Other duties as required

Your background:

Experience in the APS with strong financial management skills, including revenue management
Experience in identifying process improvements
NV 1 Security Clearance ideal
Experience with large FMIS - ideally SAP
Strong judgement and resourcefulness
Excellent communication skills
