This new position is open due to growth in the advisory and CFO team, one of the frontrunners in this space in Ballarat.
With a strong focus on advisory, get involved in developing tax planning strategies, assisting with estate planning, business performance reviews and international and cross broader tax issues. In addition you will be a key member of the outsourced CFO service involved in company set up, management accounting, cash flow management and development of a financial plan to align with the company’s strategic focus.
Private clients including some well-known Australian businesses and high net worth individuals. The billing structure here is fixed which means there is less pressure when it comes to time sheets as there is no hourly billing. This has proven to be a positive for both clients and internal staff.
Silo teams allows you to receive one on one mentorship from one of the better known Partners in this field. While there is a Manager in your team there will be a career plan mapped out to advance you to a Management level as the current Manager will be creating a new team in the near future. After initial training program specifically on developing your advisory skills your mandate will be to liaise directly with clients and be involved in the supervision and mentorship of the three juniors in the team.
Support is provided for further education should you wish to continue your personal development by completing the CTA or Masters. External courses and conferences are also fully funded and encouraged.
Relevant experience in accounting in a professional services environment and completion of the CA qualified is required.
