Our Government Services division is seeking a Project Controls Officer. The position will be based at Garden Island and repots to the CSC Commercial Manager.
Responsibilities
- Administer the financial system, including monitoring employee timesheet records and all expenses and budgets within the LHD CSC project to comply with approved policies and contract scope
- Prepare invoices, issue purchase orders and create overall budget projections
- Assist the Enterprise Support Manager in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for presentation to clients and company management
- Liaise with the Quality and Performance Manager to translate actual performance against the LHD CSC contract to performance payment claims.
- Coordination of the production of reports to the customer (including subcontractor reports)
- Coordination of the LHD CSC participation in performance reviews with the customer
- The role works as part of the KBR LHD Capability Support Coordinator (CSC) project team and directly reports to the Commercial Lead.
- Monitoring employee timesheet records and all expenses and budgets within the LHD CSC project to comply with approved policies and contract scope
- Analysing and verifying sub consultant invoices, timesheets and other costs to ensure they represent a true reflection of the sub consultant scope
- Support the development of Tasking Statement responses
- Assist in the processing of contract variations
- Assist with the maintenance of the latest thinking forecast including forecasting all actuals and accruals for cost and revenue
Requirements
- 2 - 4 years experience
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, project management/controls or a related field or equivalent work experience would be ideal
- Advanced skills in Microsoft packages including Microsoft Excel
- Experience in the use of accounting and spreadsheet packages
- Experience with the SAP Enterprise Resource Management system is highly desirable
- Ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance
- Must be an Australian citizen
