- Assist with all bookkeeping & payroll functions

This is a very hands-on role, duties include but are not limited to:
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable including debt collection
- Payroll
- Banking and Bank Reconciliations
- Monthly reporting of P & L
- Preparation of BAS/PAYG
- Cashflow and budgets.
- HR and general filing
- IT & Database Systems management
- Provide assistance with database systems, procedures and reporting
- Participate in general business administrative duties as required by the Head of Operations
- Up to 2-3 years finance experience in a similar role
- Relevant accounting qualification(s), or the ability to demonstrate appropriate skills and knowledge.
- Experience with a specialized Database advantageous (MYOB & Astute Payroll)
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- Excellent Numeracy skills & attention to detail
- High level confidentiality Integrity, reliable & professional attitude
- Well-developed communication skills (written & Verbal) with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of organizational, time management , analyzing, problem solving & leadership, adaptability
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines as well as manage priorities and staff requirements

Hours will generally be 8.30am – 5.30pm however; we are flexible on these hours for the right person.
While it is our preference to have experience & positive attitude over a degree qualification, we will consider newly graduated or nearing graduation students who demonstrate the required degree of maturity and ability.
