Sydney’s 2CH Easy Classic’s 1170AM is looking for a Superstar. Work in brand new offices in the Upper North Shore. Be mentored by the Group Financial Controller as part of a small team with opportunity to learn and grow in the role.
Main duties including but not limited to:
- Accounts Receivable including maintaining client details, recording receipts, managing collections and debt collection procedures.
- Processing high volume of client invoices monthly in a timely and accurate manner
- Accounts Payable including entry, maintaining supplier details, ensuring correct allocation of costs to GL and cost centre accounts
- Managing cash flow and cash flow forecasting
- Payroll including processing monthly payroll for all staff using ADP Payline and maintaining HR records
- Performing daily bank reconciliations
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Month end process, including the preparation of supporting documentation and general journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting and variance analysis
- End of year audit preparation and assistance.
- Completion of other statutory returns including the BAS.
- Maintenance of accounting system/processes to ensure compliance
- Involvement in projects and ad hoc duties as required
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate should possess the following:
Essential:
- Experience in a similar role for minimum 12 months
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- CA/CPA part or full completion
- Relevant work experience of more than 2 years with computerised accounting system including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, ideally experience with Xero, ADP Payline and proven excel skills
- A strong inclination for learning and adopting company and accounting procedures
- Great attention to detail and the ability to critically view information
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with all walks of life.
Media experience useful, but not necessary.
