About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join the team. As the Financial Business Partner you will form part of the BOQ Finance leadership team, based in our corporate office in either Sydney or Brisbane. You will primarily be responsible for ensuring overall productivity and continually looking to improve efficiency across the BOQ Finance team.
The role will be providing a quality and timely service to the relevant business areas of BOQ Business in respect to performance reporting, commentaries, decision support, financial planning, forecasting and budgetary control. You will enjoy leading a team to deliver strategic initiatives with particular emphasis on driving accountability and leading change initiatives in a way which improves capacity, capability and productivity. You will also assist the CFO with year-end and half year reporting and ad hoc investigations and preparation of information for EXCO and Board reporting.
About you:
As a commercially astute individual, with extensive financial services experience, you will have:
- CPA or CA Qualifications
- Extensive banking finance experience across a range of product offerings
- Exceptional leadership of finance and accounting functions well regarded
- Project Management experience on small to medium projects
- Evidence of the ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with business stakeholders
- Superior capability in written reports to communicate key points in a succinct manner
- Disciplined skills for qualification and accurate forecasting is a critical component of this role
