Fantastic permanent opportunity for a proven Rates Officer with a well-known regional Local Council.
Your new company
Based in northern Western Australia, this Local Council has a position available for someone to join their dynamic and fun loving team. Due to a career movement, there is a permanent Rates Officer position available.
Your new role
Reporting to the Coordinator of Finance, your core duties of this position include rates and service charge modelling, issuing rate notices, maintenance of Councils property records, reconciling the monthly rate general ledger and timely debt recovery.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have previous Local Government rates experience. Additionally, you will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to liaise and build relationships with members of the public, exceptional organisational and time management skills. As this role is located in northern Western Australia, you will ideally be located close by, or looking to relocate.
