The opportunity 
 
This is a career defining opportunity to stand out, be recognised and make a difference. As member of the Valuations Team, you will have the opportunity to apply your experience and expertise to deliver commercially focused valuation solutions on a wide range of dynamic and challenging projects. 
 
You will have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in Capital Markets with a 70% focus on that type of work and a 30% focus on Corporate Transactions. You will be exposed to a broad projects portfolio offering a truly diverse learning platform which would include exposure to: 

• Merger and Acquisitions; 
• Funding and Refinancing; 
• Taxation, including Taxation Consolidation, Stamp Duty and Capital Gains Tax; 
• Valuation of Intangibles; 
• Corporate Compliance, Including the Application of AIFRS Regarding the Valuation of Separately Identifiable Intangible Assets resulting from Business Combinations; 
• Independent Expert Reports; 
• Litigation Support; and 
• Employee Share and Option Plans. 

 
Key responsibilities of the role 
 
This opportunity will allow you to join a well-established and supportive team of experts who will assist and motivate you to gain a wide range of exposure including: 

• Preparation of High Quality Valuation Reports and Advice; 
• Undertake Robust Valuation Assessments based on the Full Range of Valuation Methodologies; 
• Valuations Research to Offering Value-Added Insight into Comparable Companies and Transactions, Industry Trends and Market Conditions; 
• Assist in the Compilation of Independent Experts Reports (or Fairness Opinions); 
• Build and Maintain Relationships with Key Stakeholders and Clients; 
• Mentoring of Team Members; and 
• Participate in Business Development Initiatives. 

 
The successful applicant 
 
The role will suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes: 

• 5+ years of Valuations Experience Ideally in an Accounting, Boutique Valuations or Corporate Firm; 
• MAppFin or CFA Qualification would be Highly Regarded; 
• Ability to Work Independently with a Strong Work Ethic and Sense of Ownership; 
• Solid Collaboration, Communication and Interpersonal Skills with the Ability to Build Strong Trust-based Relationships; 
• Solid Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills; 
• Solid Written and Verbal Communication Skills; 
• Ability to Write Commercially Focused and Insightful Valuation Reports; and 
• An Appetite to Learn;
