Boutique CPA firm located in Mooloolaba area providing quality business and tax services to a wide range of clients. Their core business services include outsourced CFO and finance, taxation services, business advisory, corporate structuring and SMSF administration. Client portfolio boasts SME's to high net worth individuals and are rapidly expanding in broader holistic financial services advice.

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an intermediate accountant to work in a friendly and flexible team environment. Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSF clients
• Preparing GST, IAS and BAS
• Liaising with client's and ensuring they are aware of their tax and compliance obligations
• Liaising with statutory bodies and auditors on behalf of clients

About You

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor Degree or above qualification in Accounting
• CPA enrolled/or working towards CPA qualification
• Experience with Xero and MYOB
• Experience in SMSF accounting will be an advantage
• Minimum 2 years experience in Professional Services working with individuals and small businesses
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic, highly motivated and works well within a team environment
• Be a team player, but able to work independently
• A passion for helping people
