OUR CORE BUSINESS IS SUPPORTED BY A PROACTIVE RETAIL OPERATION CIRCUIT AS WELL AS AN EFFICIENT AFTER-MARKET SERVICE AND SPARE PARTS DIVISION
You will be an experienced Accountant possessing:
- Strong accounting and finance skills required for a senior accountant role
- Attention to detail combined with the ability to think strategically
- Proven ability to manage team members ensuring the team's productivity KPI's are achieved
- Honesty and integrity naturally
Duties include primary responsibility for:
- The company's accounting and financial functions, including preparation of internal financial accounts
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Stock Control including dealing with international suppliers
- Import/Export and customs experience very important as are the processing of electronic transfer of funds and negotiating exchange rates
- Experience in multi-currency processing
- Preparation of BAS and IAS and dealing with the ATO on taxation issues, as required
- Liaising with the company's bankers, as required
- Logistics experience
- You will be very experienced and skilled in managing, mentoring and motivating your team, this will be one of the keys to your success
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- The right to live and work in Australia and must have a current driver's licence
At the moment we have transitioned from MYOB to EXO, experience in EXO would be a big plus., otherwise it would be essential that you've worked with a 1st or 2nd tier product like SAP, Dynamics or Pronto as a minimum accountancy software program.
Initially you will report to the Financial Controller then, after completing a full induction program, you will progress to an independent role reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be part of a small but dynamic team. Naturally experience in running teams is necessary. You will enjoy being hands on.
