A fantastic opportunity has become available for a dynamic Commercial Accountant to deliver concise, accurate and timely internal and external reporting (financial and management commentary) for Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety (WIS) and Wesfarmers Industrial Division (WID).
Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, your key accountabilities will include:
- Preparing consistent and accurate financial and management reports per Wesfarmers Group timetables, including month end, finance and board reporting
- Reviewing and reconciling reporting commentary to ensure accuracy and a commercial focus
- Working with the Reporting Team to ensure accuracy between internal systems (TM1) and corporate office systems (HFM)
- Assisting in the annual budget, impairment testing and Corporate Planning processes
- Use of TM1 and HFM reporting systems
In order to be successful in this role you have proven experience in a similar Commercial Reporting role ideally within a complex enterprise organisation. Effective interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to engage with and communicate effectively to different audiences will ensure you will make an strong impact on the business. MS Office skills with advanced knowledge of excel and exposure is essential, with significant experience in TM1 and Hyperion (HFM) highly regarded.
