STEPPING STONE TO AN EXECUTIVE ROLE
Employing circa 5,000 people and with a multi billion dollar turnover, this group operates in every state with each state of each operation being responsible for reporting its own activities. In Victoria it has a major manufacturing site near Coburg and a rare opportunity has arisen for a strategic, highly driven and competent Accountant. You must have exposure to high volume manufacturing in an industrial environment, this could be FMCG, Packaging, Printing etc.
The site is accredited to ISO9001 and the manufactured throughput is significant. The activity is high volume low cost items, which are produced in long runs via highly automated mechanical and chemical processes. The finished products are then on sold to a blue chip client base, usually on a Just In Time program. They can not have delays in reporting or inaccuracies in the standard costs.
We seek a dynamic, modern hands on Accountant who can lead a team of accounting professionals. The role should be part of your planned career progression as it leads you to a most senior financial role. This position is that good!
- Are you an analytical hands on Accountant who can manage the total Accounting activity for a significant business unit?
- Do you understand how to wring efficiency and effectiveness from a team of people?
- Are you a strongly driven, results orientated leader who aspires to work for an industry recognised company?
- Can you take total and personal ownership of an extremely important and senior element of the companies activity?
- Have you used SAP in a manufacturing environment?
- Do you need a fast track stepping stone to a very senior Finance role?
