The Company
Our Client is an Australian-owned manufacturer of engineered products for the commercial and residential construction industry, based in a northern suburbs Industrial estate. Due to their own rapid growth and that of the manufacturing and construction industries, they are inviting a Financial Account to join the team.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and experience in:
- Maintaining integrity of data
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reporting
- Monthly reconciliation of balance account sheet
- Preparation of monthly BAS returns and annual tax return worksheets
- Capital expenditure control
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting
- Management of overseas creditors and prepayments
- Investigating, analysing and facilitating the financial records
Ideal Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- CPA qualified
- Demonstrated financial accounting experience in a similar role (within the manufacturing industry - highly desirable)
- Proficiency in SAP (highly desirable)
- Strong reconciliation skills with the ability to analyse data, problem solve and draw appropriate conclusions
- Understanding the importance of the accounting function to the business as a whole
