With a growing pipe line of work over the next 12 month, our client urgently requires an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to come on board and assist the finance team. Working holiday visas encouraged to apply.

Client Details

Our client is a global leader in providing a diverse range of tools and products to assist in farmers in growing their crops in a sustainable manner, whilst using land, water and energy more effectively. Working closely with the Financial Controller this role has an important month end focus,hence, the need for the successful applicant to have a proven track record working to tight deadlines within large complex organisations is essential.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare month end management accounts in a timely manner - consolidated P&L, BS & Cash Flow
• Maintaining and managing working capital requirements
• Preparing and lodging Australian taxation obligations - BAS, IAS, FBT
• Purchase order system management
• Maintaining the integrity of systems, controls and procedures
• Lead stock take of east coast operations
• Ad hoc executive reporting

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skill set:

• CA/CPA qualified
• 3+ years qualified experience
• Excellent communication and teamwork attributes
• The ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Desirable:

• Big 4 background
• Audit experience
• WHV's encouraged to apply

Job Offer

• Contract rate equivalent to $50/$55 per hour + Super pending level of experience
• CBD Location
• Immediate start
