Our client is a highly regarded accounting firm, located in a busy inner Northern suburb of Brisbane. They are a two Partner firm with great staff retention, seeking an experienced accountant to join their team and take ownership in managing a portfolio of SME style clients.
The position is in business services and you will ideally possess around 4 years' experience in public practice.
Key responsibilities and duties will include:
- Client meetings
- Directly liaising with clients regarding queries and accounting matters
- Preparation of BAS's and IAS's
- Preparation of Financial Statements and tax returns
- CGT, FBT, Div7a calculations
Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary Accounting Qualifications
- Membership of a Professional Accounting Body
- Experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns
- Excellent knowledge of taxation legislation
- Excellent Xero MYOB / Quickbooks knowledge
- Excellent use of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
