Reporting to the Credit & Compliance Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to increase cash flow through the timely collection of overdue fees and Accommodation Bond /RAD payments.
The Collections Officer will be accountable for:

Reporting to the Credit & Compliance Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to increase cash flow through the timely collection of overdue fees and Accommodation Bond /RAD payments.
The Collections Officer will be accountable for:
- Managing outstanding balances (with residents / representatives) within receivable portfolio to ensure the portfolio remains profitable.
- Manage sensitive and confidential data/information.
- Manage collections correspondence and responses to enquiries.
- Escalate outstanding debtors to external collection agencies or senior management.
- Monitor and manage specific payment arrangements.
- Assist with the managemtent of daily banking of payments received at head office.
- Relevant Finance/Business qualifications or equivalent competencies in Credit Control.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in collection.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills.
- Confident and empathetic approach.
- Aged Care experience extremely desirable.
