Collections Officer - Credit & Compliance

Reporting to the Credit & Compliance Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to increase cash flow through the timely collection of overdue fees and Accommodation Bond /RAD payments.
 
 
The Collections Officer will be accountable for:
 

• Managing outstanding balances (with residents / representatives) within receivable portfolio to ensure the portfolio remains profitable.
• Manage sensitive and confidential data/information.
• Manage collections correspondence and responses to enquiries.
• Escalate outstanding debtors to external collection agencies or senior management.
• Monitor and manage specific payment arrangements.
• Assist with the managemtent of daily banking of payments received at head office.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Relevant Finance/Business qualifications or equivalent competencies in Credit Control.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in collection.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Confident and empathetic approach.
• Aged Care experience extremely desirable.
