The Company
This Mid-Tier CBD based practice, nurtures and encourages staff to progress in their career paths, growing with the global firm. The practice has multiple service lines across business services, tax, accounting, financial planning and superannuation management.
The Role/Individual
The firm is looking for a focused Senior Accountant, to grow with the firm’s support, and provide compliance and advisory services to clients. You will have exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, as well as complex structures to ensure you are challenged and rewarded in your role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Compliance work for SME’s, consolidated groups and high net wealth individuals.
- Financial Reporting
- Preparation of Cashflow forecasting, budgets & Monthly Management Reports
- Build and grow strong client relationships
- Liaising with the ATO on taxation matters
- Research – tax and business advisory
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders
Skills & Experience
The following requirements are necessary in order to be considered:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Business Services- an Australian Accounting firm
- Completed or commenced either the CA/CPA program, with a preference for the Tax module to be completed
- Previous experience working on multi-entity structures (made up of Trusts, companies, partnerships & / individuals)
- High level of technical skills in compliance
- A drive and enthusiasm for continued career progression
- Written and verbal communication must be of a high standard
